Lynell has never strayed far from her true passion: creative writing. In the midst of the on going activism and legal and psychological studies, Lynell has continued to keep the spotlight on her writing. At nine years old, Lynell wrote her first short story which went on to place 1st in the Illinois statewide regional writing competition. She wrote her first poem at the age of 12, eventually having later poems published in an anthology.
In 2012, Lynell E. Everett, Esq. set out on the path to build a company that serves as the vehicle to help create, celebrate, elevate, and disseminate the artistic work of women and People of Color. The company's mission is to provide a home where the artistic voices, underrepresented perspectives, and unique experiences of People of Color and women are not only heard and seen, but are given the opportunity to thrive.
"Working with Bleu Anchor was one of the best decisions I could have made in my professional career. I felt valued, supported, and respected. As a writer, I believe that partnering with Bleu Anchor for my needs strengthened my ability to just be a creative and trust the company to handle some of the business aspects. My choice to work with Bleu Anchor was a great one, and I am thankful for what we were able to accomplish!"

"Working with Bleu Anchor Entertainment has been a great experience for me. They edited and published two of my poetry books. And although this process was frightening, as I never put myself out there like that, it was amazing working with BAE. The staff was very professional, thorough and they are also very talented artists. The experience of having artists as my publisher made me feel like they knew what I was going through; they were right in the fight with me and they cared about keeping the integrity of my work. I learned so much from BAE and they really care about helping people grow as artists. I couldn’t have asked for a better publisher and I really believe my books would not be what they were without the services of Bleu Anchor Entertainment."
"Bleu Anchor's editing services are quite thorough. They work diligently to fully understand what you mean by the written piece. They follow through with adjustments quickly. After editing it is still a piece of yourself. Lynell is driven, passionate, supporting and an amazing woman. She knows what she wants and is working hard to get it. So to get her help to work on your dreams is something you will not regret."

"BAE has introduced a ground-breaking platform that provides thought-provoking narratives. The narratives are diverse, and bridge the gap between people from all walks of life. One of the key things that sticks out to me about BAE, is how it manages to force the audience to look within themselves to find their own prospective. This creates self discovery, and an even broader conversation. In today’s social climate, this is essential. I’m so excited to see the amazing things that BAE has in store for the world!"
